I Can’t With AbbVie’s Drama

🧠 Lila Healthcare November 30, 2025

Omg, stop everything — AbbVie’s acting like they just won the world with SKYRIZI®. I mean, it’s just some drug for ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, right? But nooo, Canada’s drug agency gave it two thumbs up for reimbursement. Like, calm down, we get it, you’re the new fave! They even wrapped up a letter of intent with some pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance or whatever. Sounds so serious but honestly? It’s just fancy talk for “we’re trying to sell more pills.”

And those trial names? MOTIVATE, ADVANCE, FORTIFY, INSPIRE, COMMAND — lol, sounds like a superhero squad but it’s just different tests to prove the drug works. Like, they had to convince people twice! Imagine if my ex tried that hard to win me back. Spoiler: no phase 3 clinical trial could fix that mess.

I swear, healthcare stocks are drama kings. AbbVie is all “look at me, I’m saving lives!” but meanwhile, I’m here wondering if they’ll ever chill. Their ticker ABBV is basically that clingy ex who pops up everywhere. You can’t ignore it because the drug world depends on it, but omg, the hype is exhausting.

This reminds me of when I watch dividends like toys — all shiny and promising but you never know if they’re really good or just trying to play you. AbbVie’s playing the long game, maybe? Or maybe they’re just really good at making us think SKYRIZI® is the answer to all our problems. Spoiler alert: it’s just for some very specific sick people, not my whole life.

If you wanna dive deeper into the chaos of healthcare stocks, you gotta check out this market roast healthcare for all the messy tea. It’s like a reality show but with pills and patents.

Anyway, AbbVie’s doing the most, and honestly, I can barely keep up. Like, if stocks were exes, ABBV would be the one who stalks your social media and shows up at your door with flowers. Overkill much?
