I Watch Goldman Brothers Play Lunch Boss

Goldman Sachs. Big name. Big offices. And what do we have here? Two brothers waving arms like they’re in some kind of middle school signal meeting. Osmin and Fernando Rivera. Sound like a pair of cats squabbling over the same sunny spot on the windowsill. Only these two get to share not just a mom and dad, but a top Goldman job too. Lucky them.

Every day at noon, Osmin stands up, waves his arms like he’s trying to land a plane, just so Fernando notices. They stroll over to the 11th floor cafeteria together, probably comparing who’s got the better power lunch deal. Because nothing screams “high finance” like synchronized brotherly chit-chat over overpriced sandwiches.

Fernando just got promoted to co-head of Latin America. Fancy title. Sounds serious. But honestly, it’s just more proof you don’t have to claw your way through the jungle if you come from the right litter. Keeps the family business cozy. I bet the only thing fiercer than their trading strategies is their dinner table debates about who gets the bigger office view.

Meanwhile, the rest of the traders stare through glass walls, watching the sibling show. Maybe wishing they had a brother signal to grab a break too. Or maybe not. Because for all the arm-waving and handshakes, real success in trading isn’t about sharing gene pools. It’s about calm moves and sharp eyes. But hey, who needs skill when you’ve got family ties? Sure, wave those arms, boys. I’m just here, licking my fur, watching your lunch breaks.
